  • Account Information: When you sign in via Google, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture.
  • App Usage Data: We store your selected moods, movie feedback, and watchlist preferences to improve AI recommendations.
  • Device & Technical Data: We may collect device IDs, OS versions, and crash reports to maintain app stability.
  • Location Data (Optional): If you grant permission, we may access your device's coarse or precise location to determine your region. This strictly filters movie availability to your local streaming catalogs.
  • Push Notifications (Optional): If you grant permission, we may send you alerts regarding new matches.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

  • To provide personalized movie recommendations via AI APIs.
  • To manage your account, subscription status, and "spin" balances.
  • To improve our curation algorithms and app performance.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase & Google Cloud: For authentication and database hosting.
  • Google AdMob: For displaying personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
  • Google Play Native Purchases / PayPal: For processing payments securely. We do not store your direct credit card details.
  • TMDB: We query movie databases which do not involve your personal data.
  • BigDataCloud: We utilize their reverse geocoding API to seamlessly match your location coordinates to a Country Code, entirely on-device, to verify streaming availability. We do not transmit your user identity to this service.

4. DATA SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures (including secure HTTPS connections) to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Download a complete copy of your personal data entirely self-serve via the app settings.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Account deletions are subject to a 30-day grace period, during which you can log back in to cancel the deletion. If not cancelled, your data is permanently deleted automatically.
  • Opt-out of personalized advertisements via your device settings.
