1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the Moodflix app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Moodflix is an AI-powered movie and TV show recommendation service. We provide mood-based suggestions using AI models and third-party movie databases. The service is provided "as is" and is subject to change without notice.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

  • You must sign in via Google to access personalized features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS

  • Moodflix offers a free tier with limited daily "spins" and a premium subscription.
  • Premium subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis via PayPal or Google Play.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with PayPal's and Google Play's respective refund policies.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features or usage limits.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute any content from Moodflix.
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, branding, and code associated with Moodflix is owned by Moodflix. Movie data and images are sourced from TMDB and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Moodflix is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that recommendations will meet your expectations.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moodflix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time via the Delete Account page. Account deletion requests carry a 30-day grace period before your account and personal data are permanently and irretrievably deleted.

10. PRE-REGISTRATION REWARDS (FOUNDER'S PACK)

  • Users who pre-register for Moodflix on the Google Play Store are eligible to receive a "Founder's Pack" reward, consisting of 100 Free Spins.
  • The reward is strictly limited to one (1) redemption per device and per Google Play account.
  • The reward will be credited automatically upon your first successful sign-in to the app.
  • Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are subject to change.

11. REWARDED ADVERTISEMENTS

  • High-quality, ad-supported experiences are provided via third-party networks (e.g., Google AdMob).
  • Free-tier users may optionally choose to view rewarded video advertisements in exchange for in-app benefits, such as extra "spins".
  • You must watch the advertisement to completion as dictated by the ad network to receive the reward. Skipping or closing the ad early will result in no reward being granted.
  • Ad availability is determined by the third-party network and is not guaranteed at all times.
  • Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

12. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

By using the Moodflix app, you understand that the service may request access to native device features, including but not limited to Location Services and Push Notifications. These permissions are strictly opt-in and are utilized solely to enhance core functionality (e.g., verifying local movie availability and delivering recommendations). You can revoke these permissions at any time via your device's operating system settings.
